Business Analysis

Bridging two worlds

Business Analysis purpose is to close the gap between Business expectations and IT capabilities.

The BA Expert works on the continuous improvement of the processes, the products and services through software solutions. He/she analyzes all the dimensions including data analytics, state of the art of the technologies and costs. The BA will help its stakeholders to constitute a real business case (what will the process look like, based on what input and to execute what output to which recipients…) before the first line of code is defined. As a deliverable, the BA will produce the business requirements including their prioritization.

The Business Analyst keeps an eye on the IS Roadmap and in this view, closely collaborates with the Demand Manager and/or the IT Manager.

Functional Analysis

Acting as a Refiner

Functional Analysis purpose is to further dive into the business requirements and transform them into functional requirements.

The FA Expert is more often specialized in a given domain (Accountancy, HR, Trading…). He/She jointly works with the developers and supports the building of the IS solution adding some technical skills as installing and configuring the solution, coordinating or executing test scenarios, coordinating the handover and training to the users.

Development
